A pneumatic conveying system is a method of transferring bulk dry materials such as powders, flours, granules, chemicals and food products etc, through an enclosed horizontal or vertical conveying line using the pressure differential and the flow of air as the motive force supplied by a blower or fan.

The system basically consists of a fan or blower, a feeder, a conveying line or duct, a collection vessel (such as an air-material receiver), and a dust collection system. Some of the most common materials transferred by pneumatic conveying systems are flour, cement, sand, and plastic pellets, chemicals, food products, and minerals.

KARYASIDDHI designs and manufactures equipment for the pneumatic transport of bulk solids materials for small and large systems to suit various applications.
