In a Double Inlet Double Width (DIDW) Fan, air enters the fan from both the end s. The advantage of this design is that it gives the same pressure rise but double the flow of a SISW Fan. DIDW Fans are provided with two impellers in one casing and supported by bearings at both ends. The width is also greater in width as compared to SISW Fans and DIDW fans are essentially two fan sets back to back with the adjoining case wall removed. The drive arrangement is belt driven. These fans are recommended for high flow and low pressure applications.
KARYASIDDHI has over three decades of experience in providing air solutions to industries. Our fans features aerodynamically designed casings and inlet cones and low noise levels. The impeller design allows for air expansion over the entire blade width, with relatively low velocity and minimum turbulence resulting in superior performance. All designs are engineered to your exact requirements to give optimal efficiency.
